Dr. N. S. N. Rao (Consultant), is the retired professor of Bio statistics from Banaras University, have extensive and unique experience in statistics. And he had worked in UNFPA for many years in New Delhi. And he had also participated in CBD project at Varanasi, for the promotion of the condoms for many years.


Ms Arm in Jamshedji Neogx (Member),
has extensive experience in research in the areas of reproductive health, gender issues, children, disabled persons, media studies, community development and HIV/AIDS. The type of research includes clinical trials, surveillance, socio-genetic research, formative research, process documentation, needs assessment studies, monitoring and evaluation.

Shyam K. Kashyap (President), a post-graduate in marketing management from Allahabad University, Allahabad. Has over eight years experience in market research field operations across India, in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Headed the field division of IDC (India) Limited which is MNC and leading company for IT & Telecom research across the globe for more than three years. Handled over 500 projects on IT in last three years. Involvement in social research includes assignments by the Govt. of Maharashtra, UNICEF, NCAER, Ministry of Health, Labor Ministry, Finance Ministry, USAID, MDACS, MSACS, and NACO.


Mrs. Rash mi Gandaki (Consultant), is post graduate in physicology and Diploma in Social Services from Karnataka and also have a Training for Trainers in the area of communication. More than five years she worked among the street children with the NGO called MAYA and currently with Karnataka Police for gender sensitization under the SAMUHA (an NGO). And she has worked almost all the recognized market research organizations like IMRB, MODE, ORG and AC Nielsen.

Dr Asavari Herwadkar (Consultant), MD is a Mac Arthur fellow, has qualified for a Masters in Medicine and Microbiology, and is presently qualifying for a diploma in Hospital and Health Care Management. She is a practicing physician, counselor, and a trainer/educationist by profession. After completing N HIV/AIDS research fellowship at the Institute of Human Virology, the University of Maryland ,USA, She established a Voluntary Counseling, Testing and Care with support Centre for PLHA and a program for sensitization of health professionals.

Mr. Gaurav Prateek (Consultant), is basically a Livelihoods Consultant, with six years of experience with the Govt. of Rajasthan (a micro enterprise development agency of the Govt, called Rural Non Farm Development Agency or RUDA), after which he was with CAREINDIA as a full time consultant on their Gujarat Earthquake Rehabilitation Project, again focusing on livelihoods. Also worked with World Bank, UNFPA, UNIDO etc as a consultant for several proposal formulation assignments.


Ms. Usha Shankar (Consultant), is masters in Economics from Bangalore and having a wide range of experience of 30 year in the research especially in Industrial and Economic research with strong writing skills. She was working with the American Consulate, Mumbai for more than 11 years and work for various journals and magazine for more than 5 years. She also worked in the area of reproductive health and HIV/AIDS.


Vankatesh Ganesh (Consultant),
GNIIT programmer from NUT and Diploma in Mass Communications from Chennai with over three years experience in a leading IT publication house like Cyber Media India Pvt. Ltd., Business standard, Inter Media Technologies as a reporter/correspondent. Also an expert in data analysis and report writing.


Rajesh Gupta (Treasurer/Secretary), Graduate from Mumbai University and working in market research since last 10 years with expertise in field management and facilitation.


Shantanudas Gupta (Consultant),
has nine years experience in environment for household, industrial, semi-corporate, corporate, social groups in a number of research agencies.


This group has worked on projects sponsored by UNICEF, UNIFEM, USA1D, Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, FBI, PSI, PSS, the government Ministries of Health and Family Welfare as well as HRD, ICMR, NCAER, NORAD, NTPC, ORG, NACO, CARE INDIA and Avert Society.
